Hi, Its me again and I am going to give a few tips on leveling up in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 this is perhaps one of my most favorite games on Xbox 360 , and I would also like anybody who has some other good tips or other good info to post them as comments.
Tip #1. Start with a gun your good with for example your M4A1 and try to complete all challenges with this gun, each challenge will give you extra experience points. Once you get all or most of the challenges complete switch to another gun so you can complete those challenges for extra experience points. Don't forget to do this with your secondary gun as well.
Tip #2. As you level up you gain access to different challenges for example one of the first you will unlock is called operations, and this gives you extra experience for the type of match you play examples being team deathmatch, headquarters pro and capture the flag as well as many others. Don't get stuck playing one kind of match, play a variety of game types so you can get the xp bonus of defeating a challenge.
Tip #3.Check your challenges as they are unlocked and try to do them just being aware of what you need to do will help you for example if you are trying to get the backstabber challenge, you will know to knife a opponent in the back when possible instead of shooting them.However many of them you will get by just playing the game so don't get stuck on trying to do something that's more tedious as it will probably just get you killed.
Tip #4. Use your grenades often, I have got many kills by just throwing them where i see an enemy on the radar, or heartbeat sensor.
Tip #5. Be sure to use your kill streak awards before the match ends, otherwise you wont get as much xp.
Tip #6. Put in the time of playing the game and most of all enjoy.
And in closing a lot of people ask whats the best weapon combination the answer is what works for you my favorite is the M16 with heartbeat sensor and red dot. Secondary G18 machine pistol with silencer and red dot. Perk one Bling, Perk 2 Hardline, Perk 3 Scrambler

i would like it if you put some tips on like best ways for nukes and stuff i just prestiged so im a level 44 in MW2 and i have 2 nukes legibly and 1 not but it seems that i get lucky rather than skilled
ggn assassin thank you for your comment, i will actually be looking into this, this for me seems the one of the hardest things to give advice on as opponents vary so much and getting a kill streak high enough for this means your on your A game or maybe really lucky or both. but i am going to do some research and testing to determine if there is a better method than others.
The one tip that I can give you on this that you probably already know if you've already prestiged is make sure you are utilizing your kill streak rewards correctly and the perk hardline dosent hurt either, but the kill streak rewards that have worked best for me is harrier strike and Ac130 or chopper gunner but i prefer Ac 130 as it is harder to shoot down and if you utilize the different weapons on it you can really beat the other team in the dirt, and to some its painfull to admit but some of my best runs have been when i try to stay in a small area on the map that i can defend without to much exposing my rear and flanks, lot of people call this camping and frown on it but to me its a tactic and if they are stupid enough to run down the same hall or spot over and over and not change their tactics then they deserve it.
Better hubpage with the videos, but if you are going to tell people how to get a nuke, then it's best if you make a different hubpage for that.
I thought this was very helpful, and I think another good class is any assault rifle with the noob tube, 1.One Man Army 2.Danger Close and 3.Scrambler... I use it alot when camping is in order and unlimited ammo.
